On April 14, 2020, Zhongshan Cuiheng New Area Linhai Industrial Park was sunny and colorful flags were flying. In the first offshore wind power mono-pile manufacturing base in Guangdong jointly built by Hefei Ziking Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Wenchuan Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. of China shipbuilding group, the first pile delivery ceremony of 300MW offshore wind power mono-pile in Yangjiang Shaba was successfully held. This is the first offshore wind power mono-pile in Guangdong completed by Anhui enterprises in combination with China shipbuilding group relying on the advantages of local marine manufacturing resources in Guangdong. Leaders and guests from Hefei Ziking Steel Pipe Co., Ltd., CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Poly Changda Engineering Co., Ltd., Yangjiang Mingyang offshore wind power development Co., Ltd., Beijing Shougang Co., Ltd., Baoshan Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. and other enterprises attended the delivery ceremony.

The large-diameter single pile delivered this time is the first set of offshore wind power mono-pile of "Yangjiang Shaba 300MW scientific research demonstration project". It is 103.4m long with maximum diameter 8.8m and 1644.3 tons. It has reached the weight of a light frigate, which is one of the largest offshore wind power mono-piles in the world. The successful delivery of the pile marks that Anhui manufacturing and Anhui brand have helped Guangdong Province's offshore wind power infrastructure construction to a new level, which will effectively promote the more efficient development of China's offshore wind power industry.

Offshore wind power is regarded by many countries as one of the main directions of new energy development. Guangdong is a major energy consuming province. The development of offshore wind power is of great significance for Guangdong Province to optimize energy structure, promote energy conservation and emission reduction, deal with climate change, promote industrial upgrading and maintain steady economic growth. On February 14, 2020, Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission announced the commencement and completion grid connection schedule of 26 offshore wind power projects, involving 26 offshore wind power projects with a total scale of more than 100 million KW. According to the current average development investment cost of offshore wind power of 14000 yuan / kW, the cumulative total investment will exceed 1400 billion, which is another new trillion industry in Guangdong Province. Guangdong's 26 offshore wind power projects are mainly located in Shantou, Jieyang, Shanwei, Huizhou, Zhuhai, Yangjiang and Zhanjiang. Among them, Zhuhai Guishan, Zhanjiang Wailuo, Yangjiang Nanpeng island and other demonstration projects are planned to be connected to the grid by the end of 2020, and most of the other projects will be started before the end of 2020 and connected to the grid by the end of 2021. This year and next will be the blowout period of wind power industry in Guangdong Province.

The mono- pile production process is catching up with the outbreak of COVID-19 epidemic at home and abroad. In order to ensure the smooth manufacture of the first pile of the "Yangjiang Shaba 300MW scientific research demonstration project", Hefei Ziking steel pipe Co., Ltd. and Wenchuan heavy industry overcame the adverse factors caused by the outbreak of the epidemic, such as late resumption of work, difficult arrival of labor force and difficult product construction. Through a plan in advance and optimization the production process, after 45 days of hard work, the mono- pile was successfully completed and delivered as scheduled.

At the beginning of 2018, Hefei Ziking Steel Pipe Co., Ltd. ( hereinafter ziking) defined offshore wind power business as the company's key development direction in the future. In order to overcome the disadvantages of Hefei base as an inland area with limited water transportation and logistics and weak foundation conditions for heavy industry, Ziking actively went out of Anhui province and went south to Guangdong province. In cooperation with the shipbuilding industry of China Shipbuilding Group, Ziking tried its best to build a Guangdong offshore wind power steel structure manufacturing base based on the unique geographical advantages of selecting the Sea outlet of the Pearl River Delta, mainly engaged in the production of offshore wind power jackets, wind power skirt pile, large-diameter mono- pile and pile stabilizing platform. Up to now, Ziking Guangdong wind power manufacturing base has formed an annual production capacity of 90 large-diameter wind power mono- piles, 40 sets of wind  power jackets and 50000 tons of wind power skirt piles. It is the offshore wind power steel structure manufacturing base with the largest scale, the most complete product line and the highest degree of specialization in Guangdong province.

In the future, Ziking will firmly aim at the national policy planning for vigorously developing the strategic emerging industry of offshore wind power, actively respond to the strategic deployment of Guangdong Province to build a trillion level offshore wind power industry, further deepen the cooperation with China Shipbuilding Corporation, give full play to their respective advantages, continuously improve the basic manufacturing capacity of offshore wind power, and make new and greater contributions to the development of China's offshore wind power industry and the construction of new energy!
